TP SA to provide 2,300 employees with voluntary departure packages

2011-10-31

TP SA has signed a so-called Social Agreement with trade unions for years 2012-2013, in accordance to which a maximum of 2,300 employees with at least six-year seniority will be provided with voluntary departure packages. As a consequence of separate settlement up to 1,150 employees may take advantage of these packages yet in 2012.

Value of the compensation packages will depend on employee seniority and will fluctuate between four and fifteen-month salary broaden by bonus of PLN 8,000 (€1,843) in 2012 and PLN 6,000 (€1,382) the year later. Employees with seniority exceeding 20 years will be given an additional PLN 20,000 (€4,600).

TP SA has been reporting drastic fall in a number of fixed-line subscribers for several years, which along with other factors negatively affected its financial results.
