Polkomtel to become indirect shareholder of NFI Midas
2012-01-05
Polkomtel, the Plus mobile network operator owned by Polish billionaire Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, will become an indirect shareholder in the capital group
NFI Midas controlling the telecommunication companies
Centernet,
Mobyland and
Aero2.
The transaction will be provided through reshuffling within the Solorz-Zak empire. Polkomtel’s subsidiary,
LTE Holdings SPV, will purchase a 49% package of
Litenite’s shares from Cyprus-based
Ortholuck, the owner of a 66% stake in NFI Midas.
Polkomtel also received an option for a future purchase from Ortholuck of the remaining 51% of shares at Litenite. The transaction will reinforce the Solorz-Zak telecommunication business branch.
