Pilicka to extend its network

Nasdaq-listed Airspan Networks, a leading worldwide provider of broadband networks, announced that it has signed a frame contract with Pilicka Telefonia, an alternative fixed-line operator, to provide telecommunications equipment to roll out DSL-based broadband services, and to purchase expansion equipment for the Polish company's fixed-wireless network. The sum of contract has not been revealed publicly. Pilicka's current network includes five cities in the central part of Poland and it is currently extending its voice and data offerings into three additional cities. At present, the operator has around 35,000 subscribers.
