Pronox Technology prospectus approved

The Financial Supervisory Authority (KNF) has approved the issue prospectus of Pronox Technology, a manufacturer of computers and consumer electronics appliances. The company hopes to raise around PLN 25m (€6.4m) from the stock market debut.
The funds are to be used for the construction of a production and logistics centre in Dabrowa Gornicza. The new production facility is to have, initially, a capacity of 500,000 LCD TV sets per annum, and this could be increased to 2 million units. The factory is also to produce other electronic devices.
The TV sets are produced by Pronox for Chinese contractors, who sell them via retail chains in the UK, France and Spain. At the moment, production takes place at a plant in Bedzin.
