Wasko to supply IT system for police in Malopolska

Wasko, a Gliwice-based listed provider of IT services, has won a contract for the implementation of an IT system for police forces in the Malopolska region.
The company is to supply several hundred computers for police stations in Krakow and the surrounding area. The project is to be paid for with money from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). EU funds of €4.5m are available, and the police will pay PLN 1.5m (€0.4m) The offer submitted by Wasko is the only one which met the tender requirements. The system is to be used by more than a thousand police officers in the region.
