GTS Energis has LLU agreement
2007-04-19
GTS Energis, an alternative fixed-line operator, has reported that it has signed an agreement on local loop unbundling (LLU) with TP SA. This is the first agreement of this kind between an alternative telco and the incumbent in Poland.
The alternative operator stated, in a press release, that the agreement will enable it to offer a full range of telecommunication services. The company is able to offer xDSL-based internet access, line rental and voice (analogue and ISDN). It has announced that it intends to launch the services on the basis of an LLU agreement in the second half of 2007.
GTS Energis owns a 5,200 km fibre-optic network with a capacity of 40 Gbps. It offers services chiefly to business clients.
