Over 20% of Polish households have broadband, reflecting a year-on-year increase of almost four percentage points. This is one of the findings of a survey commissioned by Cisco and carried out by IDC. The total number of broadband lines is 3.19m, of which 87% are owned by individual users. Most of the ISPs in Poland have seen an increase in revenues despite falls in broadband prices. According to IDC, total broadband revenues in 2006 came to around PLN 36m (€9.5m).
