ZTE to supply hardware for Polkomtel

Polkomtel, the operator of the Plus and Sami Swoi mobile networks, is about to sign a PLN 25m (€6.6m) contract for hardware supplies with the ZTE Corporation. The contract involves equipment which would allow it to offer new services relating to entertainment and mobile internet access.
The operator has concluded a strategic agreement with ZTE. This will lead to new solutions and telecommunications products which would help it to make multimedia, news and entertainment services, along with mobile internet access, more popular. The hardware contract is the first to be signed on the basis of this strategic agreement.
