Asseco buys ADH Software
2007-06-01
Asseco Poland, one of the largest IT groups in Poland, has signed an agreement on the purchase of a 55% stake in ADH Soft, a manufacturer of software for leasing companies. The deal is worth PLN 3.3m (€0.87m).
Adam Goral, the CEO of Asseco Poland, stated in a press release that the acquisition of ADH Soft will broaden the group’s product portfolio, as the solutions for the leasing industry have not, to date, been offered by Asseco.
ADH Soft was founded in 1995 and since then has become a leading provider of software for the finance industry, particularly those companies operating in the leasing area. According to the press statements, the company’s products are being used by 70% of firms from the leasing market and have around 1,000 users.
Asseco insists that, at the moment, it does not plan to buy more shares of AHD Soft or to merge it with another company of the group.
ADH Soft forecasts that revenues in 2007 should reach PLN 5m (€1.3m) and the operational profit would be PLN 1m (€0.26m).
