Techmex to perform farms inspections

The Bielsko-Biala-based IT company Techmex, in a consortium with three other companies, has received a PLN 15.85m (€4.2m) contract from the Agency for the Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR).
The consortium is to perform the inspection of 9,950 farms over 200,000 ha of lands in the Mazowieckie, Podlaskie and Pomorskie regions on the basis of satellite pictures in these regions. The inspection applies to the farms that received direct subsidies from the EU funds and is to verify the data provided in the subsidies applications.
The deadline for the conclusion of the work is 30 September 2007.
