Prokom Software to pay dividend

The management board of Prokom Software, one of the largest IT companies in Poland, has recommended the shareholders receive a payment of 29.9% of the net profit for 2006 as the shareholders’ dividend. The firm will thus pay PLN 1.08 (€0.28) per share, or PLN 27.6m (€7.2m) in total.
In 2006, the company’s consolidated net profit stood at PLN 91.97m (€23.9m) in contrast with PLN 80.3m (€20.9m) in the previous year. In the opposite direction, the revenues decreased from PLN 1.85bn (€480.5m) in 2005 to PLN 1.69bn (€439m) in the last year. The company’s dividend policy envisages payment of up to 30% of net profit to the shareholders.
