Komputronik to go public in July

The Financial Supervisory Authority (KNF) has approved the issue prospectus of the computer hardware and consumer electronics distributor Komputronik. The company intends to sell over 1.6m shares, of which 1.45m will be newly issued.
According to the company’s statements, the value of the IPO is to amount to PLN 48m (€12.5m). Komputronik plans to spend some of the money raised from the stock exchange on development of its retail network. The acquisitions of domestic IT companies are to cost PLN 18.3m (€4.8m). The firm is going to spend PLN 6m (€1.6m) on the development of its online store. The company plans to launch various language versions of the store, which will be the first step to expansion in countries outside Poland. Komputronik declares that by entering new countries, it will be opening offices that would handle the online stores and then it would look for local distributors with whom it could cooperate.
