Sygnity signs two contracts with the Employment Ministry

Sygnity, a listed IT company, has received, from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MPiPS), a contract which relates to the implementation of a new IT system for public employment services.
The new system is designed to facilitate the monitoring of the employment market in Poland and to assist the exchange of information between public bodies which oversee unemployment. Sygnity is to conclude work on the new system in June 2008. The system is to use the existing solutions and make them compatible with others available on the market.
The MPiPS and Sygnity have also extended a maintenance contract which refers to the system used by the social assistance institutions. The two contracts are worth more than PLN 13m (€3.4m) in all.
