ComArch sells billing system to Yemen


2007-06-21

ComArch, a Krakow-based IT company, has received a contract for the sale of licences and the implementation of the Comarch BSS billing system at TeleYemen, a telecommunications operator from Yemen.
The contract is worth $2.1m. ComArch describes it as the next step in bolstering the company’s position in the Middle East, where, according to a press statement, demand for advanced services and IT systems is on the rise.
TeleYemen is the largest telecommunications operator in Yemen which offers international calls and mobile telephony based on CDMA technology.
