According to Tadeausz Kostka, the CEO of Telefonia Dialog, a major Polish alternative fixed-line operator controlled by copper-mining giant KGHM Polska Mied, the carrier should end 2003 with revenues of around PLN 390m. In 2004 revenues are to increase to PLN 450m, and the company's investment outlays will remain at 2003 levels, i.e., PLN 100m. At present, Dialog has more than 400,000 clients, and in 2004 plans to attract at least 40,000 new subscribers. The company is to focus on business clients. Mr. Kostka also hopes that the Ministry of Infrastructure will cancel Dialog's concession debts, which amount to PLN 550m, as early as the end of this year, due to substantial investments already carried out by the comapny.
