UKE approves TP SA’s price list and rejects another
2007-06-28
The UKE has approved the draft changes to the price list of TP SA’s ISDN digital line. The operator suggested an expansion of the offer by four new tariff plans for business clients.
Clients will be able to choose an offer with or without free minutes. The regulator stated that the new plans would increase choice for subscribers and allow them to adjust the offer to their needs. They are, therefore, favourable for clients, and that is why the UKE approved the changes.
The Office has also rejected proposed changes to the price list of analogue line services. The regulator explained that the proposal contained different prices for domestic calls which depended on whether or not the subscriber who was to receive the call was signed up with TP SA. The UKE stated that such a difference is not justified, as the costs of both kinds of connection are equal. According to the regulator, the prices have not been calculated on the basis of actual costs of provision and, therefore, violate the telecommunications regulations.
