According to the recent research prepared by Megapanel PBI/Gemius, price comparison portals, horizontal portals as well as commercial websites reported an increase in the number of users in November 2009 in contrast to October 2009. Among the leading websites are Google.pl, whose number of users went up by 675,000 month-on-month, to 15.6m, Onet.pl with 11.7m users, Nasza-Klasa.pl with 11.2m users and Google.com with 11m users. The fifth-largest website, Allegro.pl, boasted 10.78m users in November 2009, reflecting a 6% rise month on month. Also Ceneo.pl, a price comparison portal, reported an increase in number of users by around 200,000 to 4m users.
Despite the growing popularity (in terms of number of users) of Nasza-Klasa.pl, the most popular social networking website in Poland, the users visit it less frequently. In November 2009 the number of page views totalled to 7.65m, while in October 2009 the number of page views was 750,000 higher.
