Netia launching IP television


2010-02-11

Netia, the alternative operator of fixed-line telephony, will introduce IP TV (Internet Protocol television) in mid-2010. Netia reported about its attempts to launch the television service in February 2009. The delay in launching the service is a result of changes in the management of ITI Neovison, the owner of “n” platform, with which Netia plans to cooperate, as Miroslaw Godlewski, the Netia’s chairman, explained in Rzeczpospolita.
Moreover, the operator also considers starting cooperation with Canal+ Cyfrowy, the operator of the Cyfra+ satellite platform.
