2010-02-24
Qumak-Sekom, a software integrator, showed record-breaking results in its history in 2009. Sales revenues totalled to PLN 293m (€73.3m), reflecting 15.8% growth year on year, while net profit was PLN 14.3m (€3.6m), a rise of 1.6% when compared to 2008. The profitability, however, declined from 5.5% in 2008 to 4.9% in 2009, due to recession on the
IT market.
In 2010, the company expects its results to show further growth. The current value of contracts in Qumak-Sekom’s portfolio is PLN 186m (€46.5m). Among the company’s most important projects is building the infrastructure for new sports stadiums. In the near future, the firm will also sign another contract worth PLN 50m (€12.5m). Moreover, Qumak-Sekom considers some acquisitions, although the negotiations are not very advanced.
