Comarch launching iGaleria24.pl platform
2010-02-24
Comarch, a listed software producer, has launched iGaleria24.pl, an e-commerce platform where e-stores can present their offers. It is the company’s first
B2C (business to consumer) project. By the end of 2010, the platform is to gather all e-stores using Comarch’s software, i.e., around 300 retailers.
In autumn 2010, the producer intends to launch a marketing campaign promoting the new platform. It plans to spend several hundred thousand Polish zloty for advertising iGaleria.24.pl.
Via its new project, Comarch wants to rival
Allegro.pl, the largest auction portal in Poland. The Polish e-commerce market is worth around PLN 13bn per annum, of which around 50% is generated by auctions hosted by Allegro.pl.
Moreover, thanks to the platform, Comarch intends to boost sales of its ERP system, which includes an online store software. The clients using the ERP system will have access to the online platform. In 2009, the producer invested PLN 32m in ERP development. It plans to increase the sales of it by around 10% in 2010.
