The most prominent horizontal portals in Poland are planning to implement a number of projects in 2010, according to Rzeczpospolita. Interia.pl has commenced two infrastructure projects worth well over ten million zloty. It intends to invest in the new online mail infrastructure and create a new technology platform for building www services. In addition, Wirtualna Polska, which abandoned major investments in 2009, intends to develop its wp.tv television service and tosiewie.pl platform mail service.
Online advertising is expected to grow by between 12% and 15% in 2010 and by between 17% and 20% in 2011. In 2009, this area of the market grew by around 9%.
