Polkomtel planning sizable Eurobonds issue

Polkomtel, the Plus mobile network operator, intends to issue Eurobonds worth PLN 4bn (€1bn). The value of the issue is four times larger than previously planned. The money raised could be spent on acquisitions. In addition, the operator plans to broaden its offer, improve the quality of its services and launch a new Internet offer based on the BSA network.
Market analysts underline that Polkomtel could be interested in taking over such companies as Telefonia Dialog, the alternative fixed-line telephony operator, Exatel, the telecom solution provider, or Play, the mobile network belonging to P4.
