Polkomtel and PTC may be fined €50m

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) announced that in November 2009 it had launched an investigation of Polish mobile operators Polkomtel (Plus and Sami Swoi mobile networks) and PTC, the operator of Era and Heyah, for possible illegal collusion on the mobile television market. The operators were impeding the inspection of their headquarters at the beginning of December 2009. In addition, Polkomtel refused to hand over a hard disk to the UOKiK. The operators may be fined with up to €50m.
