K2 Internet posted healthy results in H1 2010

2010-08-26

K2 Internet, the e-marketing company, increased its sales revenues by 41% to PLN 25.5m (€6.4m) in H1 2010, as compared to the analogous period of 2009. Net profit totaled to PLN 590,000 (€148,000) after the first six months of 2010, while in the same period of the previous year the company posted PLN 1m (€0.25m) of net loss.
The healthy results are the effect of the company’s organic growth rather than acquisitions. The demand for Internet marketing services has started to grow again after the crisis. K2 Internet also managed to acquire new contracts with such companies as City Handlowy, IWP (Institute of Industrial Design), Whirlpool Polska and L’Oreal Polska.
Moreover, K2 Internet will introduce its MDPL subsidiary, the owner of Audioteka.pl audiobook service, on the New Connect alternative stock market. Prior to floating its shares, Audioteka.pl plans to carry out a private offering in order to raise money for further development.
